Baked ham practically prepares itself-and this one, glazed with pancake syrup, couldn't be easier. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 8 pound bone-in smoked ham
  • 1/2 cup pancake syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line 2" deep roasting pan with foil. Place ham in pan. Using pastry brush, lightly brush ham with some syrup.

Seal ham well with foil. Bake until meat thermometer inserted into thickest part of ham away from the bone registers 140 degrees F, about 2 hours 40 minutes, uncovering ham and brushing with the remaining syrup during the last 20 minutes of cooking time. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
