- 1 block firm tofu
- 1/2 lb minced pork
- 3 green onions
- 3 slices fresh ginger
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1-1/2 T red chile and garlic sauce
- 1 T light soy sauce
- 1 small can tomato paste (optional)
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 t sesame oil
- 1 t white pepper
- 2 t corn starch and 2 t cold water
Dice tofu and scald in large pot. When they float to top, scoop out and drain.
Chop the green onions and mince the ginger and garlic.
Heat 3 T oil in a wok. Stir-fry meat. When meat is cooked, add garlic, ginger, chile sauce, soy sauce, salt, beancurd and tomato paste (optional). Add 1 cup chicken broth. Cook 5 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with cold water. Swirl cornstarch into wok and simmer for one minute.
Sprinkle with chopped green onion and sesame oil. Serve immediately.
