Ingredients
- Horseradish sauce:
- 1 corn beef brisket
- 2 guiness
- 2 shots Jameson
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup reserved cooking liquid
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tblsp horseradish
Preparation
Step 1
Brown corn beef in butter on all sides in a heavy dutch oven. Pour guiness over ,add shots, then cover with water. Cook for 4-5 hours and never let it boil. On the stovetop or 275* oven.
Gravy:
Melt butter and add flour. Add the reserved liquid and the milk. Add the horseradish. Heat till thick. Serve with mashed potatoes.
