Almond cake with limoncello

Ingredients

  • Glaze:
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp bkg powdered
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup light olive oil
  • 5 tblsp butter
  • 10 1/2 oz almond paste
  • 2 tblsp lemon zest
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup limoncello

Preparation

Step 1

Butter and flour springform pan,
Whisk dry ingredients. Cream the sugar and butter and oil and add the almond paste and lemon peel. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each. Making sure the mixture is smooth. Add the dry ingredients and stir to blend.
Bake for 45-50 minutes. Remove the sides of the springform and brush with limoncello.
