Ingredients
- 2 t. butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1 T. vinegar
- 1 T. baking soda
- 1 pkg 12oz milk choc chips
- 1 T. shortening

Step 1
line 13x9 pan with foil and grease with butter..in a large heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup and vinegar. cook and stir over med heat until sugar is dissolved..bring to boil. cook, without stirring until 300*
remove from heat, sir in baking soda..immediately pour into prepared pan..do not spred..cool..using foil lift candy out of pan..gently peel off foil..break into pieces.... in a microwave, melt chips and shortening..stir until smooth. . dip candies into chocolate mix.. allow excess to drip off..place on wax paper
