Ingredients
- FOR APPLE MIX:
- 2 cups peeled and thinly sliced Granny Smith apples (3-5 apples)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (preferably fresh ground)
- FOR PIE FILLING:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cup apple-pie mix (see above)
- 1 unbaked 9-inch piecrust
- 1 tablespoon butter, sliced into thin pieces
- FOR TOPPING:
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Whipped cream for garnish

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix apples, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
For filling, mix sour cream, lemon juice and condensed milk until completely blended. Add apple mix and blend well. Place piecrust in a 9-inch pie tin. Pour filling into pie crust and dot with butter. Bake for 30 miutes. top with cinnamon and pecans. Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
