Chocolate Pecan Chewies Cookie Mix

1 jar cookie mix
1/2 c butter/margarine softened
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 t vanilla
Preheat oven to 375*. In large bowl, cream the butter, eggs and vanilla. Add the cookie mix and stir until mixture well blended. Drop by rounded tablesponfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake f or 10 min. Transfer to wire racks to cool.

Ingredients

• 3/4 c all purpose flour
• 1/2 c sugar
• 1/2 c cocoa powder (clean inside of jar with paper towel after this layer)
• 1/6 c brown sugar
• 1 c chopped pecans
• 1/6 c brown sugar
• 1/2 c sugar
• 3/4 c all purpose flour
• 1 t baking soda

Layer ingredients in order given into wide mouth 1 qt canning jar. Pack each layer in place before adding next ingredient.
