Mom's Peanut Butter Pie 0 Picture


  • 1 1/2 cup milk, scalded
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 TBSP. butter
  • 3 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cold milk
  • 3 TBSP. peanut butter (a little more if you like)
  • chunky or smooth -
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 baked and cooled pie shell
  • whip cream



Step 1

In top of double boiler: add brown sugar, white sugar, flour, butter, egg yolk, salt, and cold milk. Mix this well then add the scalded milk and mix this together well. Cook around ten minutes or longer and stir from time to time until thickened.
Remove from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla. Stir to combine. cover with plastic wrap. When cool place in pie shell top with whip cream .
Refrigerate leftovers.
