Gourmet Cookie Mix

1 jar cookie mix
1/2 c butter/margarine,softened
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 T milk
1 t vanilla
Preheat oven to 350*. In large bowl cream butter, egg, milk & vanila. Add cookie mix and stir until mixture well blended. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 min. Transfer to wire rack to cool.

Ingredients

• 1 c all purpose flour
• 1/2 t baking powder
• 1/2 t baking soda
• 1 1/4 c old fashioned oats, blended
• 1 (5.5 oz) mlk chocolate bar, grated
• 1/2 c sugar
• 1/2 c brown sugar
• 1/2 c chopped nuts, your choice (optl.)
• 1/2 chocolate chips

Layer ingredients in order given into wide mouth 1 qt canning jar. Pack each layer in place before adding next ingredient.
