This recipe is for a ver large pie tin. For normal sized pie tin, cute in half and bake 30 to 35 minutes.
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 large onion diced
- 1/2 pound mushrooms
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (about 8 oz.)
- 3 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk baking mix
- 6 eggs
Preheat Oven to 400 degrees.
Brown ground beef with onions, mushrooms, salt, pepper and garlic in skillet. Drain.
Spread ground beef mix in very large oversized pie tin. Sprinkle with cheese. Beat remaining ingredients with hand beater until smooth. Poor over cheese. Cook until brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean (about 45 mins.)
