Ingredients
- 1 sleeve wheatsworth crackers
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 12 oz bag choc chips
- fairly finely chopped nuts (I used the slivered blanched almonds and chopped them more finely- but pecans would be good too)
Preparation
Step 1
Lay foil on top of a jelly roll pan, then completely cover with crackers, having them all as close together as possible and completely covering the pan. Melt the butter and sugar together, bring to a boil and stir (while boiling) for 3 mins. Pour this over crackers. Sprinkle choc chips over this and when chips melt, spread the choc with rubber spatula and sprinke nuts on top while choc is still warm. (If chips don't melt well, just pop the whole thing in the oven for a minute). When the cool, break into pieces or cut into squares.
