Ingredients

  • 1/2

    cup brown sugar

  • 1-1/2

    cups maple syrup

  • 1

    cup raisins

  • 1/4

    t salt

  • 1

    T butter

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1

    t vanilla

  • 18

    uncooked tart shells

Directions

Method: Bring all ingredients to a boil. Cook until raisins are tender, about 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Add 2 beaten eggs and 1 t vanilla. Put in unbaked tart shells. Bake at 450˚ F for 8 minutes and then 350˚ until done. This makes about 1-1/2 dozen medium-sized tarts.
