Ingredients
- 4 Cans Northwestern or Pinto Beans
- 1/2 Onion, diced
- 1/2 Cup Ketchup
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
- 2 Tbsp Molasses
- 8 - 10 bacon strips
Preparation
Step 1
Partially cook bacon strips, if you like them crispy - they'll finish cooking in the oven. I put them on a cookie sheet in a cold oven, heating to 425 degrees, for about 12 mintutes. (I also halve or quarter the bacon strips so that everyone can get a piece or two of bacon in their serving)
In a 9x13" pan, combine all ingredients except bacon. Mix well.
Lay bacon strips on top and bake (uncovered) @ 350 for 45 minutes.
