Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked ham, finely chopped
- 2 8 ounce package cream cheese, cut up
- 2 cups shredded Swiss or Gruyere cheese (8 ounces)
- 2 cups chopped sweet onions (such as Vidalia or Walla Walla) (2 large)
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons honey mustard
- Toast points*
- Honey mustard (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
In a 3 1/2- or 4-quart slow cooker, combine ham, cream cheese, Swiss cheese, onions, wine, and the 2 tablespoons honey mustard.
Cover and cook on high-heat setting for 1 to 2 hours or until cheeses are melted, stirring after 1 hour. Serve immediately or keep warm, covered, on warm setting or low-heat setting for up to 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with toast points and, if desired, additional honey mustard for drizzling.
