Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups dry breadcrumbs
- 3/4 cups butter, melted
- 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup AP flour
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 cups milk
- 2 6-ounce cans crabmeat
- S&P
- 2 Tbsp. pimento
- 1/2 cup sour cream

Step 1
Using broiler: Place breadcrumbs on cookie sheet and broil on top shelf until evenly brown and crisp. Watch carefully.
Turn oven to 375*.
Place crumbs into 6 cup greased casserole with ½ cup melted butter and mix well. With spoon, press mixture to cover bottom and sides of casserole.
Add remaining ¼ cup of melted butter to saucepan. Add green onions, green pepper and garlic and sauté until tender.
Add flour and mustard and mix well. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Cook until smooth.
Add crab meat, chopped pimento and S&P. Cook until heated. Remove from heat and blend in sour cream. Pour into casserole.
Bake at 375* for 10 minutes or until bubbly. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Garnish with lemon wedges to serve.
