Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 165 °C (or 325 °F)
2. Mix the butter, brown sugar and white sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla and stir.
4. Combine the baking soda, flour and salt, then mix until it all blends.
5. Add in the oats, and chocolate chips.
6. Heap spoonfuls onto an un-greased baking sheet or tray.
8. Cool the cookies on a baking sheet.
