Chicken in Tarragon Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 shallots, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Swanson Chicken Broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon

Preparation

Step 1

Season chicken with the lemon pepper seasoning, then brown in butter in a skillet, about 2 minutes per side. Add the shallots and garlic to the skillet and cook until tender. Stir in the broth, cream and tarragon and heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through, and sauce is thickened.
