Baked Acorn or any squash with brown sugar & butter

Ingredients

  • 1 acorn sqaush, cut in 1/2
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • salt and black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Scoop out seeds and stringy pulp out of the
squash cavities and discard. In a small mixing
bowl, combine the brown sugar, butter, &
maple syrup and salt and pepper, to taste.
Rub the squash caviies and cut sides of the
squash with the butter mixture and placed
with a fork. serve 1 half per person.
Cook time: 1 hour it should be done
