Ingredients
- 1 cup butter 250 g3 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar 430 g1 lime Key Lime
Preparation
Step 1
Grate the lime.
Squeeze the lime and sieve the juice.
In a bowl, add butter and with an electric mixer beat until it's creamy.
Add half of the confectioners' sugar to the butter and mix till it's incorporated.
Add lime zest and juice and mix till it's all incorporated.
Add the rest of the confectioners' sugar to the buttercream and mix until nice and creamy.
Use as cupcake topping or as a filling for cakes.
