Sherrye's Crescent Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 5 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar
Blend in vanilla & water
Gradually add flour
Then fold in nuts , if dough is crumbly as a few drops of water
With a teaspoon measure the dough and shape into small crescents
Place on ungreased cookie sheet
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes
Remove from oven and cool completely . Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
