Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup light molasses
- 1/4 c butter or margarine, melted and cooled
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 nine-inch unbaked pie shell
Preparation
Step 1
In a medium bowl, mix sugar, cocoa, cinnamon and salt. Add eggs, molasses and butter. Beat well. Fold in pecans, reserving some for garnish.
Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees fro 50 minutes or until just set. Cool and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
