Apple crumble (Vegan/Gluten Free)

  • Filling:
  • 6 apples peeled thin
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbs lemon juice
  • Topping:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup gluten free flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (not melted)
  • 1/2 cup oats



Step 1

Preheat to 400.

Toss to coat apples in the rest of the filling ingredients.
Spoon filling into greased baking dish.

Combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Cut in coconut oil until mixture is crumbly and then stir in oats.
Sprinkle topping over filling.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until apples are tender.
