Suzi's fudge brownies

Ingredients

• Frosting:
• 1 1/4 cup butter
• 12 tblsp. cocoa
• 2 cups sugar
• 4 eggs
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 1 1/2 cup flour
• 1 tsp. Baking powder
• 1 cup nuts
• 6 tblsp. butter
• 9 tblsp. cocoa
• 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Melt the butter and cocoa together. Of the heat beat in the sugar and the eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla and then the flour. Add the nuts if desired. Pour into a 9-13" pan and bake 350* for 20-30 minutes.

To make the frosting melt the chocolate and butter. Cool, then add the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla and salt. It will set up in 15 minutes.
