Spiced Cranberry Chutney
- 2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/2 c. hot or sweet pepper jelly
- 1/4 c. golden raisins
- 2 tbsp. each dark brown sugar and cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp each coriander & mustard seeds
- 3 " strip of lemon zest
- 1/2 c. chopped red onion
Preparation time 20mins
Combine cranberries, pepper jelly, raisins, brown sugar and vinegar -add in spices & lemon strip in a saucepan.
Simmer over medium-low heat for 15 min.
Add in chopped red onion
simmer stirring until thickened for 5 extra minutes
Transfer to a bowl & chill until cold - makes 2 c. to serve with turkey
