Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 cup shortening ( or 1/2 butter 1/2 shortening or all butter)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Sift flour & salt together, cut shortening or butter into flour until it resembles coarse cornmeal. Beat egg & combine with water & vinegar. Combine with flour mixture & blend well.
Put pie cough flattened in fridge. Roll out. Bake about 10 minutes at 350-375.

Can be frozen for later use.
