Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups milk, scalded
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp yeast, dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water & 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes
  • 3 eggs, beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Put butter, sugar, spuds & salt in hot milk, allow to cool. Add eggs & yeast. Add flour gradually to make a soft dough. Raise until double in bulk. Knead. Raise again. Roll out and spread with butter, cinnamon & sugar. Roll and cut into thick slices. Raise again and bake.
