Ingredients
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/3 cup bread crumbs
- 1 0.7oz. envelope Italian dry salad dressing
- 1/2 t. crushed red pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 8 oz. Italian sausage
- 1/4 cup canned crushed pineapple, well drained
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeno
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella (1 oz.)
- 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
- 1/2 cup plum or pineapple preserves
- 1/2 cup chili sauce

Step 1
Preheat oven 350. For meatballs combine egg, bread crumbs, dry salad mix, crushed red pepper and garlic. Add ground beef, sausage, pineapple, jalapeno and mozzarella, Shape into 1" balls. Bake 20 min. Drain and transfer balls to 3.5 or 4 qt. slow cooker.
IN medium bowl combine salad dressing, preserves and chili sauce. Pour over meatballs in cooker. Cover & cook on low 3-4 hrs. or 1.5-2 hrs. on high.
