Ingredients

  • 3 3 3 Tblsp unsalted butter
  • 1 1 1 Tblsp olive oil
  • 2 2 2 large sweet onions, sliced
  • S S & P
  • 4 4 4 cups Kale leaves
  • 5 5 5 cups cooked wild rice blend
  • 2 2 2 cups grated swiss cheese
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1 1 cup bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. Melt 1 tbls butter in oil in large skillet over med heat, add onions and season with s & p. cook until soft and tender, stirring occasionally about 30 minutes.. Add kale and let wilt, about 5 min. Combine onion-kale mixture, wild rice and 1 cup swiss chess in large bowl. Season with s & p . Grease 2 quart dish with butter. Spread rice mixture into dish, pour broth over. Top with remaining cheese and bread crumbs. Melt 1 tblp butter and pour over top. Bake 30 to 35 min.
