Ingredients

  • 1 lb. beef sirloin
  • 1 8oz. carton sour cream
  • 2 Tblsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 teasp. beef bouilion granules
  • 1/4 teasp pepper
  • 2 Tblsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (4 oz.)
  • 1/2 cup onions (1 med.)
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 cups cooked noodles

Preparation

Step 1

Trim fat from meat. Partly freeze beef. Thinly slice across the grain into bite-size strips. In a small mixing bowl stir together sour cream and flour. Stir in water, boullion granules, and pepper. Set aside.
In a lg. skillet cook and stir half of the meat in hot butter over high heat for 2-3 min. or to desired doneness. Remove from skillet. Add remaining meat, mushrooms, onion,and garlic. Cook and stir till meat reaches desired doneness. Drain off fat. Return all meat and vegs. to skillet.
Stir flour mixture into skillet. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 min. more. Serve over noodles. Makes 4 servings.
