Ingredients
- 8 oz fresh or frozen strawberries (I used sweetened strawberries in syrup)
- 3 oz pkg Strawberry jello
- 3 oz pkg Cook ‘n Serve Vanilla Pudding
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 8 oz Cool Whip
- Mini marshmallows (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Cut up an 8 oz package of fresh or frozen strawberries and set aside.
Mix together Strawberry Jello, Cook ‘n Serve Vanilla Pudding and water.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly and boil for 2-3 minutes
Pour into a heat proof bowl. Stir to allow mixture to cool a bit and add the cut up strawberries. Continue to stir until the mixture thickens and cools more.
Add 8 oz container of Cool Whip & marshmallows if using.
Put the jello salad into the fridge to chill and thicken.
To serve, put the jello salad into cups and top with additional Cool Whip and a strawberry slice.
