Ingredients

  • 4 cups drained cherries, juice reserved,( morello)
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons tapioca
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 1/3 cups reserved juice
  • Drop food coloring

Preparation

Step 1

In a large size bowl mix all the ingredients and pour into the prepared crust. Cover with top crust, preferably lattice. Bake @425* for 15 minutes then reduce to 350* for another 45 minutes.
