Cheesy Crackers

These delicious homemade crackers are perfect to serve with fruit or wine. Make dough ahead, wrap, and store in fridge or freezer and have a quick snack for unexpected guests!

Ingredients
- 1/2 C unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 C all-purpose flour
- 2 C cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 t salt
- 4 drops Tabasco Sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 t Herbes de Provence
Preparation
Step 1
Pulse all ingredients in a food processor 15 - 20 times or until mix is crumbly.
Place the mixture in a mixing bowl and add approximately 3 T of water. Mix with hands until combined.
Form into 2 10" long logs. Refrigerate for at least an hour, or freeze up to 2 weeks.
Slice the logs into 1/4" thick crackers and place on 2 parchment paper lined jelly roll pans. Bake for 15 minutes or until deep golden brown.
Cool for 3-5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
