Coca Cola Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup coke Frosting: 1 stick margarine
• 1 stick margarine 3 T. cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup oil 6 T. heavy cream
• 3 T. cocoa powder 1 t. vanilla
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups all purpose flour 1 lb. powder sugar
• 1/2 t. salt
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup buttermilk
• 1 t. baking soda
• 1 t. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan, bring coke, margarine, cocoa and oil to a boil. In a separate bowl mix sugar, flour and salt. Then pour into the boiling mixture and mix well. Add eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and soda and mix well. Pour into a greased and floured sheet cake pan (9 x 13) and bake at 350 for at least 30 minutes.

For frosting: In saucepan combine margarine, cocoa, milk and heat until the butter melts. Beat in the remaining ingredients and spread onto HOT cake. Cool and cut.
