Fried Drunken Wings

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soya sauce
  • 3/4 cup dry sherry
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • all purpose flour

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, whisk soya sauce, sherry, garlic and ginger together. Add wings and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate at lease 2 hours, preferably overnight. Drain wings well, then lightly coat with flour. Heat cooking oil to 350. Fry wings, a few pieces at a time, until crisp and golden, about 6 minutes.
