Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 lb. fresh spinach leaves, cleaned, torn
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Step 1


HEAT oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and garlic; cook and stir until mushrooms are tender.

ADD spinach; cook and stir on medium heat 4 to 5 min. or until spinach is wilted but still bright green.

STIR in salt and pepper; sprinkle with Parmesan. Serve immediately


Cooking Know-How
Spinach can be added in batches if your skillet does not accommodate all of spinach at once. As soon as the spinach begins to wilt, add the remaining spinach.
Variation
Substitute 4 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen spinach leaves, thawed and drained, for the fresh spinach. Cook mushrooms and garlic as directed. Add spinach; cook until heated through, stirring frequently. Continue as directed
