Strawberry Filled Coffee Cake

Ingredients

  • 1- 18 3/4 once yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon lime carbonated drink
  • 4 large eggs beaten
  • 1-8 ounce cheese cake cream cheese spread room temp
  • 1-12 ounce frozen strawberries thawed
  • 1 cup powdered sugar sifted
  • 2 tbs butter melted

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350*. Grease and flour a 12 cup bundt pan. Set aside. Combine cake mix, sour cream, oil, carbonated drink and eggs in a large bowl. Stir well. Beat with an electric mixer on high for 2 minutes. Pour 2/3 of the batter in bundt pan, spoon on cream cheese spread all around the top of batter making a complete circle. Evenly spread on strawberries all around. Spread rest of the batter on top. Bake at 350 until brown and top springs back when touched in the center, about 40 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan. Meanwhile mix together powdered sugar and milk until smooth, drizzle over cake while warm.
