  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp butter
  • 2 cups flour



Step 1

Preheat oven to 450. Grease 16 heat glass custard cups or popover pans with shortening. Preheat in oven 15 minutes. Put all ingredients in blender in order listed. Cover and run on 6 until mixed. fill preheated cups 1/2 full. Bake 450 for 10 minutes. Reduce to 350 and bake 40 minutes longer. Serve immediately. Makes 16

If drier interior is desired, puncture top of each with fork & allow steam to excape after baking. Return to oven w/heat turned off & allow popovers to dry 10 minutes.
