Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 tbs bacon drippings or vegetable oil

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together. Grease 9 inch skillet with about 2 tbs bacon drippings or shortening. Sprinkle a little cornmeal into hot pan before adding batter. Bake at 450* for 35 minutes.
