  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock or canned, low-sodium chicken broth
  • 4 fresh thyme sprigs
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into small
