Liver Pate'

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken livers (a little less is OK)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pt. whipping cream
  • 1/3 c. cold butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/4 t. Tabasco Sauce
  • 1 t freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 t. allspice

Preparation

Step 1

Blend all together.
Pour into buttered earthenware mold.
Place mold in a pan of water & bake 1 1/2 hrs at 325.
Texture is improved if pate' is weighted while cooling in the refrigerator.
