Stir-n-Roll Pastry

Ingredients

  • 3 2/3 cups sifted flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp cold milk

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour and salt.

Pour into 1-cup measuring cup, but DON'T stir, the oil and milk.

Pour oil and milk mixture all at once into flour mixture. Stir until mixed. Press with hands into ball and flatten slightly. Place between 2 sheets of wax paper. Roll out gently. Peel off top paper. Lift paper and pastry by top corners. Place paper side up on tin and take off paper. Finish arranging in tin.

The wax paper will not move while rolling if the rolling surface is wet before laying the paper down.

Use as desired in recipes.
