Paulines Chocolate fudge cake

Ingredients

• Frosting:
• 3 squares unsweetened chocolate
• 2 1/4 cups cake flour
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 tsp. Salt
• 2 tsp. baking soda
• 3 eggs
• 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 cup boiling water or coffee
• 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
• 1/2 cup milk
• 3 'cups powdered sugar
• 2 tsp. Vanilla
• 1/2 cup butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350*
Grease cake pans. Sift dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs one at the time, then vanilla and melted chocolate. Alternately add the flour with the sour cream. THen add boiling water. Bake 35 minutes



Frosting:
Melt chocolate and butter over low heat, then beat in rest of ingredient till spreading consistently.
