Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 lb. Butter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sliced almonds
  • Melted chocolate

Preparation

Step 1

Boil the sugar,butter and water till it reaches 290* about twenty to thirty minutes. Stir in the almonds. Pour into a cookie sheet. Let cool and the cover with melted chocolate. May be scored into squares before completely set to ease cutting.
