Chocolate Delight

Ingredients

  • Layer 1:
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup nuts
  • Layer 2
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cool whip of a large container of cool whip, thawed
  • Layer 3:
  • 2 small boxes chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • Layer 4:
  • Remainder of large container of cool whip

Preparation

Step 1

Layer 1:
mix together butter, flour and nuts, pat in 9 x 13 inch dish, bake 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown

Layer 2:
blend cream cheese, powdered sugar and cool whip, pour over cool pastry - set in refrigerator for 45 minutes

Layer 3:
mix instant pudding mix and 3 cups cold milk. blend will then pour over previous layers. Chill until set

Layer 4:
smooth the remainder of the large cool whip over the top. Refrigerate.
