Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped celery (with leaves)
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 10-ounce cans of chicken broth
  • 9 cups dried bread cubes (14 ounce pkg)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried sage leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cook and stir onion and celery in butter in
10-inch skillet until onion is tender. Add chicken broth and then stir in about
1/3 of the bread cubes. Turn into a deep bowl. Add remaining ingredients; toss.
Stuff turkey just before roasting.
