Butterscotch Cookies {Aunt Margies}

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cup sugar [mash sugar together to make sure no lumps]
• Sprinkle brown sugar to make 2 cups but do not pack
• 3 sticks Land o Lakes margarine melted
• 4 extra large eggs
• Mix eggs and sugar, pour melted margarine in mix.
• Add 2 caps vanilla stir mix then add 12 ounces of chips
• 2 tsp soda
• 1 tsp salt
• Dome flour in four cups to make about 4 1/2 to 4 3/4 cup mix.

Preparation

Step 1

Bake at 350, bottom rack 10 minutes, middle rack 4 to 6 minutes.
For peanut butter cookies add 1 1/2 cup peanut butter
For peppermint cookies add 2 tsp peppermint
