can substitute 1 Tbsp. olive oil mixed with 3 Tbsp. flour for the cornstarch mixture

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch mixed with enough water to a milk-like consistency (about 1/4 cup)
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
pour milk and cottage cheese in a large magic bullet cup and blend until smooth.
in a small bowl mix parmesan, salt, pepper and thyme together, stir in milk mixture until well blended.
transfer to a saucepan and heat over medium until very hot, then add cornstarch mixture and stir until hot and bubbly about 10 minutes.
