Ingredients
- In the jar:
- 3 qts. water
- 10 tblsp. salt
- 2 qts. vinegar
- 1 tblsp. pickling spice
- 1 tsp. chili flakes
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp. dill
- 1 tsp. green chili
- 2 tsp. Dill weed
Preparation
Step 1
Combine water and salt, vinegar, and spice bag in a kettle and boil 15 minutes. Blanch asparagus 1 1/2 minutes then ice bath. Drain and dry on paper towels. Put the jar ingredient into the jars then place the asparagus tip end up pour the prepared vinegar over. Can 10 minutes in water bath.
