  • 12 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 5 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 5 teaspoons sweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chunks
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chunks
  • 1 chocolate cookie piecrust
  • Shaved chocolate

Preparation

Step 1


Combine whipped topping, confectioners' sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla in a large bowl and mix well.
Add chocolate chunks to whipped topping mixture and mix well.
Spoon mixture into piecrust. Chill until serving time.
Garnish servings with additional whipped topping and sprinkle with shaved chocolate.

Secret Tip:
You can get a luxurious texture in this pie by whip ping your own cream. Chill 1/2 pint whipping cream. Place the bowl and beaters in the refrigerator or freezer until chilled as well. Whip the cream at high speed until soft peaks form. Add confectioners' sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla while whipping the cream.
