Ingredients

  • 3 C. Oats (old fashioned, not quick)
  • 1/2 C. Of each: pecans, walnuts, almonds (chopped) and sunflower seeds
  • 4 T. Butter
  • 1/2 C. Light brown sugar
  • 1/2 C. Maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 T. vanilla flavoring

Preparation

Step 1

Mix the oats , nuts and sunflower seeds together and bake on lined pan for 10 minutes at 325.

Cook next 4 ingredients together in pan on stove. Let it almost come to a boil. Remove from heat. ADD 1/2 T. Vanilla flavoring.

In large bowl, add baked oats, pour sauce over and stir well. Bake again on lined pans until golden brown. About 12 minutes.

May chop nuts in a mini food processor. May double, triple or quadruple the recipe.

Store in tight container. ENJOY!
